The service

Ghars Wells, operated by Anhar Original Contracting (Private) Limited, builds water wells for communities in Pakistan on behalf of customers (“sponsors”). A sponsor chooses a well project; we select the site, build the well, install a plaque with the agreed name and deliver photo and video documentation.

Legal status

Ghars Wells is a brand of a private company. It is not a registered charity. We do not issue tax-deductible receipts and make no statement about Zakat eligibility. A sponsor’s religious intention, such as Sadaqah Jariyah, is the sponsor’s own.

Prices and what is included

Prices are shown in US dollars and cover the items listed on each well page. A project is confirmed only when we confirm the details with you in writing (for example on WhatsApp or by email).

Estimates

Depth, daily users and completion times are estimates and depend on the site, groundwater level and ground conditions.

Site selection

Ghars Wells selects the village or area and the exact site according to need and suitability. A location preference may be discussed but is not guaranteed.

Plaque

The plaque carries the name you give us. We confirm the wording with you before it is made. We may decline wording that is unlawful, offensive or inappropriate.

Warranty

The manual shallow well carries a 5-year warranty. If a problem arises during the warranty period and it falls under Ghars Wells’ responsibility, we address it without charging the sponsor for the repair. Warranty terms for the artesian well are confirmed in writing with the project. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, vandalism or events outside our control.

Payment

We accept only the payment methods we have communicated to you through our official channels. We will never ask you to pay to an account that was not given to you by us through our official WhatsApp number or email.

Documentation

We deliver photos and videos of your project. You may ask for a revisit and further documentation. We may use project media, without identifying the sponsor, to show our work.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this website when you confirm your project applies to that project.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
